Don't mind me I'm just talking to myself...

“Writing is like talking to yourself, just in a way that makes it look like you're not crazy!”

Is “de-stress” an actual word? Regardless, the stress has been bad enough that my PA is flaring and I’m reaching for the scotch for pain relief too often so I needed a stress-free Hallmark Channel and crochet day.

I did take a Xanax to help but only because it’s better for me than a pain pill. So far it’s working but it also helps that I get to watch Jack Wagner today and tonight. I ❤️ the Wedding March series and it’s sad that tonight is the finale. He and Josie Bissett have great chemistry onscreen. And not just this series but when she played AJ on When Calls The Heart.

Last weekend I went out on the golf course with my husband and I’m tempted to go tomorrow too.

I was so hoping to get my second ever birdie but it wasn’t meant to be, lol. BUT… next weekend we’re having a

putting green put in at home which means I’ll be able to practice. 😎 I also lost 20 lbs as of yesterday

so things are good enough that I shouldn’t let things stress me out so much. It’s easy to do though.

Tonight I plan to render an ocean scene and work on this render from last week.

My version of Brave. Rendered in Studio and it was a good way to experiment with multiple d-force clothing items on a single figure. The hair prop is also d-force compatible but I left it as it loaded onto the figure since it already looked exactly as I wanted it to. I'm just really happy with the way this turned out.

I feel like spending the weekend doing nothing but rendering, It's a great escape from... well, the sheer stupidity that's going on right now.

But, we have something to look forward to. Our Mexico trip is booked. We all need to just get away and the plan is to not leave the resort at all. I could really use a week of late breakfasts, cabanas next to the water, drinks and good restaurants. No work... no news... just vitamin D, salt water and some Don Julio and a rum runner in a coconut.

Luke Bryan says it best.... :)

Isn't he adorable? Our friend who carved him said he would never do another one. :) He's more comfortable with bears and wildlife and he had to go off pictures we sent him and I think he even bought a plastic one from Target, lol. But he's here and he's mine and he's unique from the artist. :)

I'm happy.
