I say “they” because *I* was paying attention.  Anyone who voted for Obama and a Democratic rule voted for his socialistic ideals which were quite present from the beginning.  I’ve listened to people claim ignorance… I don’t buy it.

Collins Amendment: Waive Employer Mandate Tax…..

• The employer mandate tax punishes businesses who hire additional workers - a business with 49 workers that does not offer government-approved insurance and hires an additional worker suddenly would have to pay a $40,000 fine to the government, if even one of these employees receives a subsidy in the exchange.
• CBO has said that the costs of the employer mandate will be passed to workers, who will see lower wages, fewer full-time jobs, and more outsourcing.
• Although the employer mandate won’t come into existence until 2014, incentives to keep companies small such as this one will be felt today as employers plan for the future and see this looming tax increase.
• This amendment would provide an incentive to favor the hiring of unemployed workers - this could help lower the unemployment rate, but also create an artificial preference for hiring unemployed workers instead of workers who are unemployed.

Small business is the backbone of this country and your elected officials don’t give a damn if you can find employment or not.  Employers are having a difficult enough time as it is.  Heaping this on top of them will shut down more companies and raise prices.  Welcome to the change you voted in.

Think you don’t earn enough to be affected?   Think again.  Dems voted down protecting those who earn under $200,000.    And the SOB’s voted down an amendment that required them to be on the same piece of crap plan they intend to put us on.

Nope, sorry but if you really think that you just aren’t paying attention.  This new takeover of health care has nothing altruistic about it.  The dems have finally admitted it:

“Let me remind you this [Americans allegedly dying because of lack of universal health care] has been going on for years. We are bringing it to a halt. The harsh fact of the matter is when you’re going to pass legislation that will cover 300 [million] American people in different ways it takes a long time to do the necessary administrative steps that have to be taken to put the legislation together to control the people.”

The fact is that we have a program in place for the uninsured and those who truly need help.  It’s Medicaid and it’s so screwed up right now that it’s just a beacon of what’s to come.  And for everyone who declined to pay any attention whatsoever to what they elected into office, are you all willing to pay the price?  Small business make up the backbone of this nation.  When they are forced to pay more and higher taxes, when they are forced to insure their employees who, in my opinion, should have to seek insurance on their own behalf, are you willing to pay the extra cost in services and product costs?   Or will you be the first to bitch about the “evil capitalists”?

Hey, you voted for it.  You pay for it.

Not only did Obama not bother to leave the golf course while on his multi-million dollar Christmas vacation (paid for by taxpayers like me who worked Christmas Day) when the US was attacked by an Islamic terrorist, his top official in charge of analyzing terror threats refused to leave the ski slopes either.

How about we connect the dots for Obama on this case where a man was taken off of a plane for making terrorist threats. They’ve decided it was a “police matter”.  So what was it, disturbing the peace?  The dots are all there, they simply refuse to connect them.

Rasmussen Reports that only 34% favor the single payer health care system.  Yet the Democrats are trying to ram it down our throats without even reading the bill, a fact many of them have admitted.  Already we have had a “National Task Force” (read: Obamarule) decide that women do not need mammograms until their 50’s, shaving off 10 years of previous recomendations.

Dr. John McBee, a Pendleton surgeon, is one physician who is baffled by the new guidelines, describing them as “insane.” The task force recommendations, he said, don’t gibe with his personal observations.
“I have many patients diagnosed in their 30s,” he said, “who would not be alive today in their 40s without mammograms.”

And now the Mayo Clinic is dropping some Medicare patients:

Dec. 31 (Bloomberg) — The Mayo Clinic, praised by President Barack Obama as a national model for efficient health care, will stop accepting Medicare patients as of tomorrow at one of its primary-care clinics in Arizona, saying the U.S. government pays too little.

More than 3,000 patients eligible for Medicare, the government’s largest health-insurance program, will be forced to pay cash if they want to continue seeing their doctors at a Mayo family clinic in Glendale, northwest of Phoenix, said Michael Yardley, a Mayo spokesman. The decision, which Yardley called a two-year pilot project, won’t affect other Mayo facilities in Arizona, Florida and Minnesota.

Obama in June cited the nonprofit Rochester, Minnesota-based Mayo Clinic and the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio for offering “the highest quality care at costs well below the national norm.” Mayo’s move to drop Medicare patients may be copied by family doctors, some of whom have stopped accepting new patients from the program, said Lori Heim, president of the American Academy of Family Physicians, in a telephone interview yesterday.

“Many physicians have said, ‘I simply cannot afford to keep taking care of Medicare patients,’” said Heim, a family doctor who practices in Laurinburg, North Carolina. “If you truly know your business costs and you are losing money, it doesn’t make sense to do more of it.”

Welcome to the future of Obamacare, Democratic rule and the age of ultimate ignorance.

Either way it’s pretty damn scary that so many people didn’t see what I, and many others, were able to see before his election.

Gateway Pundit put up a report on Obamas’ Safe School Czar, Kevin Jennings.  It’s extremely shocking, extremely disturbing and shows what a very, very twisted individual Kevin Jennings is.  Read it here.  But I WARN YOU, it contains disturbing sexual content regarding children.

Today Gateway Pundit reported a cyber attack due to the report.   Sunlight is the best disinfectant and obviously he got the attention of the Obama camp.  This type of attempt at censoring the truth is nothing new for this new administration.  Founding Bloggers suggests that other conservative blogs re-post the original on their blogs so the information cannot just be swept under the rug ‘Obama style’.  I agree with that but I’m not going to post it here because while I get political on this blog it’s not all about politics here.  (and it’s way too disturbing)  This is not going away for Jennings but I predict more cyber attacks on blogs posting this info.  By the way did you know that Obama is having a ‘Panama Canal’ moment with the internet?  The US will give up control.  If you’ve spent any significant amount of time online you know that regulations are far more lax outside the US leading to more theft of info via malware on sites hosted outside of the US.  Get ready for more of that.

And I predict that Jennings will join all the others that Obama has thrown under the bus when they begin to make Obama look bad.

First is a look at those who were passed over:

Handicap International and Cluster Munition Coalition: “These organizations are recognized for their consistently serious efforts to clean up cluster bombs, also known as land mines. Innocent civilians are regularly killed worldwide because the unseen bombs explode when stepped upon.”

“Hu Jia, a human rights activist and an outspoken critic of the Chinese government, who was sentenced last year to a three-and-a-half-year prison term for ‘inciting subversion of state power.’”

“Wei Jingsheng, who spent 17 years in Chinese prisons for urging reforms of China’s communist system. He now lives in the United States.”

Next is the fact that the date for nominations ends on February 2nd.  How long had Obama been in office at that point?  Two weeks?  For what was he awarded this prize for?

“for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples”

As a jr. Senator, Obama voted “present” somewhere along the lines of 80% of the time.  He talked a good talk while campaigning, in fact someone should tell him that he’s no longer campaigning as he’s still nothing but talk.  In those talks he claimed we wouldn’t see one dollar of additional taxes.  What’s the first thing he did?  Yep, more taxes heaped on the middle class.  And even more middle class taxes are being discussed right now.

So what exactly has he done?  He backed the Honduran President who attempted to become dictator for life.  He turned his back on the Iranian protesters who were killed in the streets for voicing their opposition to their own “dictator for life”, he voted 4 times against having a doctor present in the case of a failed late term abortion.  (a failed late term abortion results in a live birth and his vote essentially said ‘let the baby die’)  He’s claimed he wants to rid the world of nukes but the only country he controls is the US which means he means to strip us of any protection.  He’s bankrupted the country while his joke of a side-kick is running around the country claiming things are just great.  He’s friends with so many radical and radically-connected people, including racists like “Rev” Wright and domestic terrorist Bill Ayers that if he had applied for the job of chef in the White House he wouldn’t have passed the background check.   He recently appointed a pro-pedophile to the position of  “Safe School Czar”.

And for all this he is awarded the Peace Prize?  Either we’ve magically skipped forward to April 1’st, I’m still asleep and having a tylenol pm induced nightmare or this country is truly going down the rabbit hole and I’m surrounded by koolaid drinking nuts.

Sadly, it’s the latter.

Jimmy Carter is alleging that Joe Wilsons’s outburst (”You Lie!”) was racially motivated.

Where’s Bill O’Riley and his reality check list when you need it?  (Watch tonight.  I can almost guaranteed Carter will be in the list)  Is Carter completely blind to the fact that literally within hours he was proven right?   The current bill was revised to ensure that citizenship is a requirement just hours after Joe Wilson’s truth statement.  Something that was not in the bill when Joe Wilson told the truth.   Oh but in Carters’ (and his ilk) mindset, if they can’t come up with a competent counter argument they just cry racism.   And it’s comical watching the Democrats’ weeping gnashing of teeth over Wilson’s statement as they demand blood from him.  He’s already apologized to Obama for his timing.  I don’t think Bush ever received an apology when treated similarly.

It’s like trying to hold an intelligent conversation with 5 year olds.

She’s a “fan of disruptors” but only when she agrees with them. The rest of us are “Un-Amercan Nazi’s” to her.
